hello!

I am Lucy Valentine LaCivita. I was born and raised in Sarasota, Florida. I graduated from Belmont University’s O’More College of Architecture and Design focusing on commercial Interior Design in Nashville, Tennessee. I have always enjoyed all things eclectic, aesthetic, and overall creative. I am easily inspired by the organic forms, shapes, and colors that the natural world has to offer. I find a particular interest in the phenomenology of light and work to implement that in my practice--evoke certain emotions and moods through the manipulation of light and shadow. I have been encouraged to focus on solution-based design while embracing the importance of original and abstract thinking. I aim to think outside the box and push the boundaries of conventional design norms. This willingness to explore new ideas and approaches help to come up with innovative solutions that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing for positive built environments all around.
